Hall of Fame wide receiver, Andre Reed, will be headed to Philadelphia’s NE Frankford Boys and Girls Club to do a room remodel on November 11th from 9am to 3pm, in partnership with American Airlines.
Reed is passionate about being a National Boys & Girls Club ambassador, as he seeks to be a role model to the youth, while giving back to an organization he grew up with. “I grew up in a Pennsylvania Boys and Girls Club, and their programs helped lay the groundwork for my football career. This project is one example of how I have committed my foundation and legacy to giving back to them.” Jerry Houck, Executive Program Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, is just as pleased, saying, “We’re thrilled to work with Andre Reed in ensuring the young people in Philly are inspired to reach their goals like he did.” Houck went on to say, “Cultivating a safe, welcoming afterschool environment is one of the impact areas Boys & Girls Clubs emphasizes; therefore we’re thrilled for the many children whose lives will be touched through this partnership.”
