Andre Reed Pro Football Hall of Fame 2014

One of the Best Wide Receivers in NFL History.

Off the field, The Andre Reed Foundation (andrereedfoundation.org) was established in 2010 by the retired NFL great to help underprivileged children reach their full potential and become responsible contributors to their communities.

In 2017, the legend started a literacy program called “Read with Reed 83: Reed Across America Literacy Tour.” The program challenges youth to read 83 books for a chance to win a trip to an NFL game with him during the season. Through it, Andre hosts Reed-ing Rallies nationwide with current NFL players to help inspire youth to realize reading is FUNdamental to ensuring a great future.

The program has evolved into remodeling reading rooms in Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide — 28 rooms remodeled, his name on them, giving youth a safe and engaging place to catch the love of reading.

Andre has visited over 66 Boys & Girls Club appearances across 33 states and is on a mission to visit clubs in all 50 states.
