For 15 years, the Andre Reed Charity Golf Classic has brought NFL alumni, sponsors, and friends to the same fairway in Andre's hometown of Allentown. Proceeds fund Read with Reed 83 — literacy programs, after-school enrichment, and mentorship for kids in the Lehigh Valley and 33 states nationwide.
The Boys & Girls Club of Allentown gave Andre what every kid deserves: a place where someone's glad you showed up. Today, this Classic exists to make sure the door stays open for the next one.
Every dollar raised funds Read with Reed 83 literacy kits, after-school tutoring with retired NFL players and certified teachers, and the daily operations that keep BGC's doors open for 1,200+ Allentown kids each year. 92¢ of every dollar reaches the classroom.
The same dedication that helped Andre run a route helps these kids tackle a book. The same hometown that raised him is where every Read with Reed reading room traces back to.

Andre grew up at the Boys & Girls Club of Allentown — the same club the Foundation has supported every year since 2010. Dollars from this Golf Classic fund after-school programming, mentorship circles, summer camp, and the Read with Reed 83 reading room inside the Allentown clubhouse. Not a check to a national org — direct support to the building on the corner where Andre’s story started.
