Read 83 isn’t a one-time book drop. It’s a structured, mentor-led literacy program — built around Andre’s jersey number and run inside Boys & Girls Clubs across 33 states.

Books on the doorstep

Each Boys & Girls Club partner receives a Read 83 starter kit — 83 age-appropriate titles, reading-room signage, and mentor training materials.

Kids get a dedicated half-hour during after-school programming. Mentors lead small groups of 4–6 with structured prompts and cool-downs.
